Through the natural saturation of the amplification stage the tone of the guitar remains the same and acquires harmonic richness.
The most exciting novelty is the Mid Contour control which makes the pedal one of a kind.
The Mid contour is a variable gain filter on 650Hz that allows fine adjustment of the mid frequency response.
The Guitar is great for semi-distorted rhythms and for boosting the amplifier’s crunch/lead channel(Plexi, JCM800 and similar)
